forgetfulness; failure [slip, loss] of memory.

～する forget things; be forgetful; have a short [poor, faulty] memory.

●彼はよく物忘れする. His memory often fails him.

・私は近ごろ物忘れして困る. I suffer from slips of memory.

・人は年を取ると物忘れする. One gets more and more forgetful with age [as one grows older].

●年寄りの物忘れ an old man's [woman's] failing memory.

●最近物忘れが激しい[ひどい]. I've become [I'm getting] terribly forgetful these days.
